Announcing: The EOS UK Worker Proposal System (The EWPS)

The familiarly named EOS UK Worker Proposal System outlines the projects which EOS UK is committed to working on when achieving periods of paid participation in the EOS Block Producer rankings.

For each 24 hour period where EOS UK is in a particular pay zone threshold, projects in that band will be worked on by the number of personnel specific to that band(assuming an EOS token price of around $6).

Example Banding and how the Block Rewards will be directed to remunerating developers

0 - 125 EOS = Existing infrastructure & team

126 - 200 EOS = Existing infrastructure & team + one developer dedicated to EWPS projects

201 - 300 EOS = Existing infrastructure & team + two developers dedicated to EWPS projects

301 - 400 EOS = Existing infrastructure & team + three developers dedicated to EWPS projects

401 - 500 EOS = Existing infrastructure & team + four developers dedicated to EWPS projects

500+ EOS for 30 consecutive days = Existing infrastructure & team + five developers dedicated to projects PLUS recruit a new, full time, five person team dedicated to delivering Worker Proposals.

Summary of initiative

• Proposals are permanently published on the public Steemit Blockchain
• Provides information for EOS token holders to use in researching Block Producers to vote for
• EOS UK clearly outlines how their Block Rewards will be spent when you vote for them
• Influence EOS inflation from Block Rewards being used to create and sustain employment in the real world
• Public support directs future projects via on chain +1s or claps
• Proposals from token holders who support EOS UK will be considered

The reasoning behind this initiate is to provide a platform to capture the ideas and intent of the EOS UK team as they strive to fulfil the original passion behind their Block Producer candidacy, as yet unfulfilled.

Due to the granular nature of the banding, your vote can actually make a big difference to the direction of a Block Producer without you having to be a whale. Each proposal will be published to Steemit or other Blockchain platform, and collated into a list on the https://eosuk.io website in due course.

It is likely that the EOS UK Worker Proposal System will incorporate a lot of Proposals originally intended to be a part of https://EOSUniversity.io so the initiative can be completed in smaller steps and achieved more quickly than at present. However, we welcome interesting proposals from supporters and EOS token holders in general.
