NEWBIE to ICO's and METAMASK!

the tension builds and now I have no idea if I have completed the ICO for EOS correctly .
Using Metamask I have sent some ETH but it made a big deal of exporting private key. I know how the function on Metamask works but the ICO has not asked me for it.! Have i screwed up and lost my ETH?
