The Global EOS Eco Summit held successfully!

in #eos6 years ago

On the afternoon of July 29, 2018, hosted by EOSUnion and TokenPocket, the “Global EOS Eco Summit” was held in Shenzhen.

In the summit, EOSUnion co-founder Li Ping, TokenPocket founder Fu Pan, European chain co-founder Zhao Wei (Harvey), EOS Shenzhen CTO Sheldon, Eostoken founder Zeng Zitao, OneChain and other 20+ excellent BPs, DAPP team gathered together to discuss the development status of DAPP, and explored the future of DAPP and the opportunities in the development of EOS eco.

The theme of the summit is “Path to DAPP Prosperity”, and the summit focused on topics such as the development trend of DAPP and the future eco development layout, and proposed target solutions for DAPP's scalability and security issues. It is an important historical moment for EOS enthusiasts, DAPP project developers and EOS global community to witness the development of DAPP and EOS.

01 Co-Founder of EOSUnion Wei Ming: Opening Speech

In the opening speech, Wei Ming said that the performance of EOS is better than that of Ethereum, but the community, ecology, constitution, and governance are still developing. EOS is like a newborn, there are still many shortcomings. We need to support it, tolerant it and take care of it. And we need to help it improve, and let it grow into what we want. At this Summit, he stated, that the guests would discuss the current status and future direction of EOS, and hopefully, we’d find a nice DAPP through this conference. He invited all of the guests and audience to create and witness history.

02 Co-Founder of EOSUnion Li Ping: "The Status and Prospects of EOS DAPP s"

Li Ping talked about how the DAPP develops in the future and how to jointly create and develop different eco. At first, he analyzed the difference between EOS's DAPP and Ethereum DAPP. He said that the EOS chain is more convenient, cheaper, more efficient, and more attractive to developers, and he predicted a very powerful killer’s DAPP will be developed in six months to a year.
He believes that EOS killer’s DAPPS will have the following three features: 1. Solve the core problem Practically; 2. High frequency, great experience; 3. Combine with the features of the blockchain. Possible areas of killer’s DAPPS are decentralized exchanges, RAM exchanges, bancor transactions, payment and financial services, content (steemit), traceability and confirmation, gambling, games, oracles, DACs (distributed autonomous communities), etc.

03 TokenPocket founder Fu Pan: "TokenPocket and DAPP Ecology"

Fu Pan talked about the development of TokenPocket along with EOS timeline, he introduced Bancor RAM, DAPP SDK, super agent full upgrade, and decentralized storage, decentralized transactions, decentralized crypto communication and some other things. What TP will do in the future is to build software infrastructure, hardware wallets, SaaS, and more. He said that EOS may be more than just a platform, hopefully, it will be the next Android system, DAPP will have a lot of opportunities.

04 OracleChain founder Zhao Wei: " DAPP era - the next wind in the blockchain industry"

By throwing out the question “Where is the next trend in the blockchain industry?”, Zhao Wei took the audience to think. He then talked about the development opportunities in the blockchain industry and introduced the OracleChain’s attempts, including the contribution of technology and the growth of the team, applying patents, setting standards, etc. In terms of specific projects, they had blockchain system pre-research in the field of electronic evidence chain inspection, pocket EOS wallet, EOSDevHelper and so on.

05 EOShenzhen Technical Director Sheldon: EOS Exchange & Bancor

Sheldon first introduced the five essentialities of currency and said that EOS and decentralized exchanges are interfaces between EOS and the legal currency and the real world. He introduced the advantages and disadvantages of the decentralized exchange, the features of the existing decentralized exchanges, the features of the bancor algorithm and the supply and demand relationship of the free market economy. Finally, he said that the blockchain + non-tamperable features will form a new production relationship that can solve the problems in trading, trust and income distribution.

06 Founder of EOS Ecology Zone Qiu Shaoxi: "See EOS from the Browser"

Qiu Shaoxi introduced EOS operation logic and transaction flow from the aspects of the block, trading account, number of smart contracts, number of actions, price, voting, query mapping and so on.

07 Founder of EOS Village Liu Gangqiang: "WhaleEx Presentation Charlie"

Liu Gangqiang introduced the WhaleEx (Whales Exchange) solution to the decentralized exchange, including off-chain trade matching, online contract clearing, cross-chain asset transfer, KYC and so on.

08 EOSpace co-founder Chen Bin: "DAPP globalization and localization"

Chen Bin compared the difference between DAPP and APP, DAPP's globalization attribute and value circulation problem in technical products. The natural globalization of technology products cannot change the strategy that DAPP must adhere to local operations. Language, user channel; generally only the core data is on the chain, other parts are still deployed on the server, there is a certain stability risk; the incentive mode is often zero and negative and mode, persistence remains to be verified; code open source transparency is obtained Guarantee.

09 Panel Discussion: opportunities in EOS eco-development

In the Panel Discussion, each guest introduced themselves briefly at first, and then the host Li Ping invited the guests to imagine and share their opinion over “What kind of DAPP would you like to do?”, then the guests discussed resources such as RAM. In the end, the guests expressed their views on the fund pool of Fomo3D.

Regarding DAPP, the guests proposed the development direction of open, fair and transparent DAPP such as blockchain blogs, financial products, gambling, charity DAPPs, games, and volunteer walls.

Regarding resources such as RAM, Fu Pan believes that the design pattern of resource usage methods needs to be optimized, otherwise large users can cause embarrassment due to vicious operations. Qiu Shaoxi explained that the origin of EOS's RAM and CPU trading threshold is to prevent malicious attackers. At present, the degree of network congestion increases, resulting in an increase in EOS transaction costs. Thus CPU load was too high and trading was no longer be available. Qiu Shaoxi said that for the development of DAPP in the future, it is also necessary to consider the cost of RAM.

10 OneChain founder Huang Huarong: "EOS Side Chain Ecology and Decentralized Trading"

Huang Huarong analyzed the advantages and significance of the EOS side chain, and introduced the features of ONEChain’s decentralized exchanges, such as security, fast, high performance, node switching, and attack fearlessly.

11 Lu Yin, co-founder Chen Xiaoliang: "The Future of Trading Ecology"

Chen Xiaoliang introduced how the road printing can solve the problem of exchanges and trading entrances with the simplest, most convenient and efficient way.

12 Eostoken co-founder Zeng Zitao: "DAPP will change the blockchain trajectory"

Zeng Zitao believes that the EOS main network provides high TPS, and the blockchain is Valued Internet, providing Eostoken's solution to the decentralized exchange.

13 Founder of Bitportal Cheng Jianyu: "Eos- DAPP -infrastructure"

Cheng Jianyu compared the difference between ETH and EOS DAPP and shared some thoughts of building DAPP and other infrastructures on the chain and under the chain.

On July 29th, the EOS Global Ecology Summit in Shenzhen showed DAPP's life miracle and unparalleled imagination to every friend who loves EOS.

As a new trend, DAPP’s time has arrived, and the future must be bright. We will continue to explore all the unknowns in the EOS world and share these findings with all of you.

The future of EOS will be better because of our efforts, and each of us will grow up to be better ourselves in the process of helping the EOS eco.
