EOS Mainnet collapsed, but investors hold on the price

EOS Mainnet collapsed, but it seems that the investors still hold up to their tokens and the market price did not go down as we got accustomed to it. Could it be that even if the networked stopped working for few hours that the investors took that into the risk assessment and also that they believe in the technology and don't rush to sell?

I see EOS being in its inception phase so whom would wanna sell at the first signs of rainy days? What would the HODL's say about history repeating. And truly, I support the project and also I am amazed to see that with this big issue there wasn't the common flock effect getting the market down.

On the other side this is unusual for the market conditions and sincerely I couldn't say what follows on the short term. On the long term of course EOS will prove itself and I see it closing the gaps with Bitcoin and Ethereum, but this refers to being able to wait for a time until it matures and you will see nice returns.

Nevertheless, I believe in EOS and whomever saw that even if the network stopped working and the price hold, it should be a lesson and proof that he can still get on board with this technology.
