I have signed a lot of on-line petitions, but some will say such 'clickivism' has little meaning. That said I heard that more people signed the on-line partition against article 50 than voted for the Brexit party. Seems governments can choose which referenda to take notice of.
Agreed, I wouldn't put it high on my list. But definitely better than doing nothing at all 😃
