The terrible thing about these acts are the cigarette butts get caught up in the storm water and end up at sea, and on the beaches.

Every year, I take a volunteer day off work to go and help out the marine biologists down at West Beach - the number of cigarette butts littered in the spillways and on the beaches as a result of idiots who don't consider their actions is disgusting.
