After two years of delays, a sleek new passenger ferry began plying the Mississippi River between Algiers Point and Canal Street on Saturday, in journeys that are faster, calmer and better for the environment.

Interesting article about a new ferry that crosses teh river between New Orleans and Algiers point. This new ferry had many delays, but it's good that it's finally here. It's supposed to be better for the environment than the older ones which I like. And anything that gets people out of cars and sharing rides is a good thing in my book.
