Millionaire Shortcuts 1 of 42: Schools create employees

in #entrepreneur7 years ago (edited)

Education is important, it gives you the backbone of knowledge you need in life. A lot can be said about the methods and choice of subjects in primary schools. The education system lags behind the possibilities we have in the information age, in regards for individual students it is neither very flexible or dynamic. Many subjects are not useful in the adult life, 99% of adults knows too little about economics, taxes, credit cards, loans, entrepreneurship and personal finance.

The perfect student ends up as the perfect worker, a specialist in one field ready to run in the hamster wheel called life. A mindless consumer living from paycheck to paycheck. School education is important but that does not mean you should turn of your brain and let the system lead you through life together with the rest of the herd. Take the knowledge the school offers but also search of mentors and information outside the school and your home. Teachers are not millionaires and most likely neither are your parents. Then why do you take economic advice from them? If you want to become wealthy learn from the rich !

You must take responsibility for your path in life, most of us only see the paths everyone else take and we follow them. Look around, ask, research find mentors get the knowledge of how to read roadmaps. There are paths to wealth everywhere but they are just not visible to you yet.
