China can open highway from Tibet to Nepal; military use

China has opened a strategic highway through Tibet to the Nepal border. It can be used for civil and military purposes.

According to a media report, Chinese experts say about this move that Beijing will be able to enter South Asia.

The 40.4-kilometer long highway between Shigas Airport and Shiges city in Tibet, officially on Friday for the people.

Opened Some part of this highway connects it to the Nepal border.

The highway will reduce the distance between the two airports used for civil and military purposes and the second largest city of Tibet by half an hour. According to experts, this will increase China's reach in terms of trade and defense in South Asia.Geographically, any extension of road or rail links to South Asia will be done by India, Bhutan and Bangladesh.

Chinese officials have earlier said that projects are practical and if New Delhi is involved, then it can become a business corridor for India and China.
