SRIDEVI WON THE BEST ACTRESS NATIONAL AWARD - INDIA

Late actor Sridevi won the Best Actress National Award posthumously. The Bollywood Diva and fashion icon was died on 24 February this year. This is her first ever National Award. She won this award for her performance in the movie MOM. She played a mother of daughter who has been raped and dumped into the sewerage in this movie and take the revenge for this from the accused those have been freed by the law.

Sridevi was a great actor and done many unforgettable movies like Chandani, Mr. India, Nagina, Sadma, Tohfa etc. these are some of the movies we can not forget. After a long break from the silver screen she made a comeback with the movie English vinglish and this movie was a great hit. The songs those are popular with Sridevi are from Mr. India " Hawa Hawai" Sadma "Sur Mai Akhiyo Me" Tohfa "Pyar Ka Tohfa Tera", these songs are ever green.

This award is a great tribute to this legendary actor and we wish she will be rest in peace.
