Now I understand that we have destroyed ourselves on several occasions, causing a pain that I probably will not forgive.

And the great love you felt for me at that moment was responsible for you still being here. You were and still are my world, you are everything you always need.

You became the most precious thing to me, the most beautiful thing before my eyes, my only reason for being.

And even though you swore to me your eternal love and faithful company, I accept that the fear I felt never disappeared.

I already had in mind the many risks I ran when I entered more and more into a love where distance was the biggest obstacle, but I did not care at all, I wanted your love, I needed you, I could not separate from you. And I was afraid because that dreaded moment came for me, the one in which your attention was not the same; and not because you did not want to, but because you could not.

I did not want to lose you with another person, that was my biggest fear.

It was so risky and beautiful at the same time.

You changed me, you have made me everything I am now and all that with just being you.

And although it hurt to think that I was not going to see you soon, your love kept filling me as I tried to make sure that the hopes did not disappear in me. It was a matter of time and maturity to realize that I wanted my life with you, that I wanted to share the rest of my days with you, that I wanted to find you and embrace you, that I wanted to feel your affection.

I wanted and I still want to know how it feels to be in your arms. It was a matter of maturity and time to realize that our worlds had become one and that it was our responsibility to keep them that way.

And maybe it was just a coincidence that you entered my life as a simple stranger, someone with whom I did not have the slightest interest in maintaining a relationship.

A simple and distant friendship was the first thing that crossed my mind when I met you.

But destiny played its cards once more, gathering our souls and hearts, making them work in one. Can you stay with me?
