About the day of the doctor, celebrated yesterday, I want to comment on how Venezuelans received this day.

It is no secret to anyone that the health sector is one of those severely affected by the current situation in Venezuela, and therefore, a large part of the population is directly affected.

Oncological patients without chemotherapy, patients with renal failure without being able to carry out their medications, patients with HIV / AIDS without receiving treatment, patients with Parkinson's without medication, scarce medical resources, lack of medicine for the different pathologies, absence of medical equipment and even material of cleaning, are some of the points that highlight the reality that lives in hospitals and health centers in Venezuela. All this without counting the large rows in the waiting rooms and the insecurity within these precincts.

Yesterday there was no variation in the reality of hospitals and health centers in the country, indeed, not even recognition by the executive committee to doctors, who daily risk their lives to save that of others. For this reason, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate and thank the Venezuelan doctors, extraordinary beings who save lives even when they work under very precarious conditions and receive low salaries. Congratulations!

I wish to extend my congratulations to the doctors all over the world, for such beautiful work and dedication; to you my respect. I also consider it necessary to make known, in a general way, part of the situation that both doctors and patients in my country are living.
