Both users get 1 share each
The share makes you entitled to upvotes on steemit for life.

Currently each share is only worth just over $0.01 per week. These soon add up and there are other ways to get higher upvotes.

The aim is to give ever share holder a basic level of support on steemit. If/whwn thw value rises so does you upvote to the point that it may pay for a basic income.
