Give It A Try
Constructive Usage of Time instead of binging!!
We all might have witnessed our grandmother's old hands occupied with Needle, frame ,thread and a scissor.
Infact her house is full of embroidered masterpieces being used as table cloth, fridge cover, television cover, bedsheets, cushion cover and what not.
Nowadays people don't have any of these as readymade plastic covers and bedsheets are available. But do they give the same aesthetics to our home. I don't think so.
In today's world we are always after learning something new, be it a language or code or a new course but we never try to learn something, let's say traditional work?
So why not grab some plain cloth and try to make something out of it with just the touch of embroidery.
So here I am attaching my very first embroidered multi-use cover, which I made out of Matty cloth.
Generally cross stitch is widely used for this cloth but it takes a bit more time. So I didn't want to demoralise myself and continued with bordered cross stitch along with running or kantha stitch forming checks out of it sewing flowers in junctions uniformly. And taaaadaaahhh my piece is ready.
