Ring. Drawing illustration with markers
Hello, Steemit!)
I want to show a small illustration made with markers.
I drew this work for one contest dedicated to jewelry. As a reference I took a photo from the profile of one of the sponsors of the competition.
First, I drew the contours with pencil.
Started to paint from the background.
Based on the selected reference, I painted a mountain landscape in the background of the picture. For drawing trees on mountain slopes, I used all shades of green - lime, grassy, emerald, dark green. In the shadows used umber. The snow-covered mountain range painted with ecru, umber, cool blue, champagne, greenish-gray markers.
I painted the wooden texture with markers of brown, orange and gray shades.
Since the distant background will be subsequently blurred, drew it abstract.
Painted the ring. For the metal used gray shades (dark gray, greenish gray, umber), opal painted over with pink and purple markers.
I paid attention to the details on the ring, underlined the contours with a liner, drew highlights with a white gel pen and a white permanent pencil.
At the final stage, emphasized the details on the ring, reinforced the texture of the wood with a dark gray watercolor marker. The distant plan was blurred in the editor for focusing on the ring, as the main object of the picture.
