Christmas illustration. Drawing with markers
Hello, Steemit!)
I want to show a small Christmas illustration, made with markers.
I decided to draw an illustration - the basis for a New Year's card with a symbol of the coming 2019 New Year and Santa Claus.
First I drew the contours with a pencil.
Закрашивать начала с фона.
Для фона использовала оттенки темно-синий, синий и холодно-голубой. Нанесла чернила на бумагу, сделав плавный переход цветов. Получилось новогоднее ночное небо.
Painted the figure of Santa Claus. For the costume I used red color, and cherry and umber for the shadows and the volume. In green colored mittens. For hair and beard and white elements of the costume I used markers of light gray, ecru and blue. Drew with yellow and black markers a sparkler in Santa's hand.
Painted piggy figure. For the fur coat, used a cold blue color, royal blue, in the shade used umber and a dark gray shade. Painted muzzle with pink marker, drew the volume and shadow with umber.
In the "hands" pig put a gift in a green box with a red bow.
Small parts highlighted in gray and black liners.
In the background, drew peeping branches of a Christmas tree. Used light green, green, yellow, emerald shades. On the Christmas tree painted Christmas decorations.
At the final stage, emphasized the details in the figure, reinforced the shadows and the volume of the figures. Blurred background in the editor. Added a congratulatory inscription.
My illustration is ready. In the future I plan to use it for printing Christmas cards.
