Bunny. Drawing with markers an illustration for a children's book
Hello!)
Today I will you show my drawing that I drew for one contest as an illustration of a children's book.
It was necessary to portray the favorite toy of one little girl.
I painted with alcohol and watercolor markers.
First I drew the contours with pencil.
Started drawing the toy. I chose a gray-beige standard shade for the color of the hare. Showed with lines the direction of the hairs.
I decided to make the muzzle darker to make the toy did not look boring. Filled it with dark gray. Drew eyes with a black marker. The nose and ears were painted wiith pink. The bunny should be in overalls and shoes, drew objects of his suit with green and brown shades.
Started to the maximum detailing. Painted carefully hairs, adding intermediate shadows with umber and beige colors, reinforced the shadows for the volume in dark gray. Added small finishing touches with a liner and a white gel pen.
As it is getting dark early, photographing work is becoming more difficult, the quality of the photo is lame. I scanned the work and corrected it a bit in the editor, because the scanner make the colors very bright.
