12 Volt On/Off Battery Charger

This is the first of many simple electronic circuits I have found to be interesting and fairly easy to build.
Watch for regular postings on this page.
Ask if you have an idea for a project, I may have an antique circuit for you.

This schematic is for a 12 volt, on/off battery charger.
The charger is very simple in design.
Some of the parts are obsolete but substitutions are easily found.
Parts source I use is Mouser Electronics
