Summary of SLC22/WK4: Industrial Automation(PLC) and Electrical Motor Faults.

in #electricity-s22w43 days ago (edited)

Steemian Friends,
Today, I will write the Steemit Learning Challenge 22 week 04 homework summary report. In Week 04, we learned about Industrial Automation (PLC) and Electrical Motor Faults. Nine students completed homework this week. I had a test with the students through this week's homework. This week's homework tested students' motor and transformer skills. I have given the details below.

Homework observation summary

I designed the lesson this week to reflect what the students learned in the previous three weeks. I prepare lessons to prepare students for jobs in Industrial Electrical. We try to teach something good through an online platform. This week's homework was very technical. Answering is easy for those who have studied the previous lessons well, but I was not completely satisfied with the student's homework.

@dwings I am pleased with the student's homework. I hope this student will find a good job if he learns about industrial electrical engineering this way. In my country, I would have offered him a job in the electrical section of our company. I read the student's homework and understood that he learned about motor subjects.

Expect better things from some of my other regular students @toflex, @shadow04, @mdpolasmia, @udyliciouz, @moazzamushtaq and @nsijoro. I would tell them to work harder and learn better about industrial electrical. Industrial electrical is very interesting. I try to give my best, and you will get good results.

Y'all read @dwings homework once. A 5 kW motor has a low current rating, so it has to be run with a DOL starter. Other starters will cost more. If the motor is below 5 KW, the DOL starter will be remembered from now on.

A 45 kW motor has a higher current rating, so it requires a star delta starter to run it. Starting with a Star Delta starter will reduce motor damage, but the Star Delta connection costs more. We always start large motors with star delta starters.

A 15 kW motor needs to be run in both directions, so a forward reverse starter connection will be made. We have learned these in previous lessons. All of you will learn the above topics better. Other topics include magnetic contact, overload relay, and MCCB selection and setting.

Top Four Homeworks

Homework of the First Student

1st@dwingshttps://steemit.com/hive-147599/@dwings/industrial-automation-plc-and-electrical-motor-faults9

Reason:
The student came first because he answered well about motors and transformers and wrote the answers to critical questions beautifully. If I had been on the viva board of his job test, I would have given him an offer letter to join the job. A person with electrical knowledge can give the homework answers. The student got nine marks, which I am satisfied with. Good luck to the student.

Homework of the Second Student

2nd@mdpolasmiahttps://steemit.com/hive-183369/@mdpolasmia/industrial-automation-plc-and-electrical-motor-faults8.2

Reason:
The student came in second because he answered most of the homework questions correctly. However, he made a mistake in checking the motor, so he is in second place. Remember that electrical work cannot be done wrong. The more you learn, the more successful you will be. The student's homework score was second.

Homework of the Third Student

3rd@shadow04https://steemit.com/hive-193637/@shadow04/industrial-automation-plc-and-electrical-motor-faults7

Reason:
The student made the same mistake. They did not do the motor check correctly but gave the rest of the homework questions correctly. I expected better from the students. I read the student's homework and understood that he worked very hard. Try and you will succeed. Two students had the same marks, but this student did motor starter circuits well, so I gave him the third position.

Homework of the Forth Student

4th@udyliciouzhttps://steemit.com/hive-153970/@udyliciouz/industrial-automation-plc-and-electrical-motor-faults7

Reason:
I have shown the student's mistakes in the review. After reading the student's homework, I understood that he understood the homework tasks, but there was a mistake in the presentation. But he learned about industrial electrical subjects, which I understood from his writings. He needs to learn more about the meter starter circuits I suggested in the review. The student submitted his homework first, and I ranked him fourth because his homework score was fourth.

Good luck to all the students, and welcome to the winners. These were very critical questions that could only be answered by those who had a good understanding of industrial electrical. Everyone will learn the correct answer from their mistakes. Read the following lessons and gain more knowledge.

Best Regards,
Industrial Electrical Instructor
