2017 Atlantic Hurricane Season : Hurricane Irma weakening slightly
09/01/2017 @ 3: 15 PM
Hurricane Irma, located at 18.5N, 37.8W is packing winds of 110 mph with higher gusts - a category 3 hurricane. There has been some weakening in the forecast models and this is reflected in the forecast from the national Hurricane Center. That being said variations in intensity are not uncommon with major hurricanes.
I appreciate any comments you may have. I would also appreciate your vote.
Looking to be much more active this year than last
We'ere at the peak of the season. So far it's been an average year.
Being in Florida, that is refreshing news.
I hope she continues to weaken...to the point she is just a passing wind.
While I certainly don't wish any impact on you, I wouldn't count on it.
