YOU CAN BE SMART IRRESPECTIVE OF YOUR AGE
Many people think that nothing can be done to increase human IQ (intellectual quotient) ... Well, that's not entirely correct ... Science shows that intelligence is both environmental and genetic. Few things can be done to alter the genetic part, but you can work on the environmental aspect and increase your brain power IRRESPECTIVE OF YOUR AGE
1. Just Believe You Can Be Smarter
The first step is to believe that you can be smarter. Studies have shown that this simple belief can actually make it true. This does not mean that you should be pompous: you must assume that you are not yet great, which will open you to learning new things and asking new questions: the exact kind that can make you smarter
2. Read Good Books and Watch the News
It is an activity that maintains the appearance of habit while nourishing healthy brainwaves. Setting aside half an hour every morning or night to read books or watch the news will help your brain to stay active. The digesting of new information is a good daily habit. The news presents interesting topics to consider and will let your brain turn with new information.
3. Always Quota Status Quo
Stupid people accept everything that is given to them and everything that seems "normal" to them. They never go above and beyond to do research and question the current status quo. Smart people, on the other hand, never accept the status quo and understand that if it is the status quo that means there needs to be change and there are gaps that need to be filled.
4. Have Smart Friends.
It can be difficult for your self esteem but going out with people who are smarter than you are one of the quickest ways to learn. "Keep a smart company. Remember that your IQ is the average of five closest people you are always hanging out with.
5. Write
Like reading, writing encourages vocabulary growth, grammatical skills and the use of appropriate syntax. Writing helps the brain to store information more effectively and promotes better memory skills. Studies show that students who regularly take handwritten notes during college courses always get better on the tests. Writing forces a person to pay attention to their memories, experiences and internal dialogues - a combination that increases the brain's function altogether.
6. Play A Lot Of Smart Games
Games are not quite bad, depending on the type, you could get a high IQ by playing games like chess, scrabble, puzzles (candy crush for example) and competitive games. In general, any game that makes you think or develop strategies can make you smarter
