Floor is any hard surface.
Mud floor: mud is a traditional floor finish in nigeria and africa, today it is still in use in many parts of this country.

Advantages of mud floor

1. It is cheaper than the other floor finishes.
2. It is cool, therefore suitable for hot weather.
3. The raw material is readily available every where.

Disadvantages of mud floor.

1. It is hard wearing.
2. It is not durable.
3. It is not suitable for certain functional area in the home. E.g bath room.
4. It is not suitable for riverine areas.
5. Some harmful insects, such as fleas can bore holes and live in the mud floor.
