The production and generation of food depends clearly on the items and products that we harvest and obtain for processing, due to the increase in the world population, more and more food production is required, for the which more extensions of land are necessary to plant. All this demand requires many resources, of which many are in limited quantities, this coupled with the constant commitment we have to protect the environment and our ecosystem, we have to consider it a challenge with intelligent ideas that generate final products of character efficient.

The precision to use a resource as valuable as water in agricultural activities requires a deep knowledge in the study of hydraulics, since with the basic and deep knowledge on hydraulics we minimize the amount used by irrigation in agriculture and activities livestock, all these knowledge to my understanding will have to go in a continuous evolution, where the applied technologies generate an environment conducive to fragüeen changes in the modern world, where agriculture is not outside in the modern streams with innovative characters.

All these changes oriented to an evolution in agriculture, implies a study classified in the storage, conduction, distribution and application of the water in the extensive areas that we have to use for sowing or even for a livestock activity.

The preparatory nature that we must have to predict the elements with which we must have to implement an irrigation and drainage system, must admit different structures such as dams for water storage, where control and measurement systems can be carried out. volumes and other physical-chemical properties of water. Once the storage and distribution of our water is guaranteed, it is necessary to create and manage the irrigation and drainage channels for agricultural crops and other activities agricultural. A good selection and preparation for the pipes is very important, since these will provide the necessary function in what transport and distribution of irrigation water will be for our agricultural activities.

Both empirical and engineering knowledge should be oriented to the design and evaluation of irrigation systems, of course, applying all the knowledge on hydraulics. All this design and implementation of the irrigation system must be taken into account from the storage and extraction, conduction and distribution of water, until reaching the application of irrigation water.

Knowledge to take into account, considering science and engineering.

In transporting this valuable fluid, such as water, it is necessary to understand all the general principles that govern the movement of water inside pipes, fittings, hoses, among others, that transport them. So that the water can move logically this is because a force has to act on it, it is then very important that we know what are the forces acting on the water and the structures that store it, the importance of knowing the origins of these forces is that we can diagnose the ability to increase or decrease the pressures of the entire system according to our operational needs. The other way of being able to estimate the operations of water transport in the irrigation system is the quantification of volumes that circulate through the pipes and diversities of conduits.

All this transport of water through ducts and pipes involves the knowledge of a variety of laws that belong to the mechanics of a fluid, where its application is also for water, within these principles is the "Bernoulli continuity equation", the which says that all the mass of a fluid that enters a system is equal to the mass of fluid that comes out, that is, everything is summarized as everything that enters is equal to what comes out. We can summarize it like this:

The design in an irrigation system, should not be an isolated element without taking into account other considerations.

Firstly, I consider that irrigation systems must be designed to be precise, that is, there should be no waste in the amount of water to be used, but that there should not be enough for crops, that is why throughout history, agricultural activities have depended heavily on irrigation systems, therefore the future of agriculture depends in large part on precision irrigation systems, the accuracy and precision in the design of irrigation systems depend on the hydraulics, in a great way of the acquisition of climatic data, humidity, water consumption, energy demands among others. If we give due importance to the accuracy of the irrigation system taking into account the elements outlined above, we will be giving protection to all the hydraulic design used, that is why within the irrigation systems you can not work the hydraulics in isolation without considering other aspects.
