The Revolution of Education

Hello Steemers, today I want to introduce you to a start-up, of which I am one of the co-founders, the NGO Global Education Movement - GEM.

Who are we?

GEM is a non-profit organization born in Maastricht, Netherlands. In the heart of this European city, learners from different socio-economic backgrounds and cultures were united under the same purpose: the purpose of pursuing and promoting the ideal of equal access to quality education for all. As the challenge in front of us is far beyond our capacity, we aim at connecting, empowering, collaborating with learners and educators around the globe. We believe that each individual is indeed a precious gem, who holds an incredible potential waiting to be unleashed.

What do we do?

• Empower through collaboration and facilitation.
• Provide an open platform for learners to realize their own individual agency.
• Allow the institution to be shaped through people who invest their ideas and passions to redesign education.
• Improve learning by challenging traditional educational models.
• Bring back the sacredness of education and inspire others to positively impact society.
• Join other global educational initiatives that share our ideals and values.
• Improve global education through inspiring transformation in local communities.
