Well written, easy to follow concept.

To answer you question based on my live experience:- pursuit to happiness ends when one discover contentment.

Contentment has in its definition:-
satisfaction and ... happiness <elusive word by nature.

Some people search for happiness to then achieve satisfaction, but I think the key to true happiness is to see things the opposite way.

Satisfaction, is the outcome of realistic expectations.

Therefore: - fulfilled expectations = satisfaction => happiness.

Realistic expectations are great when it comes to avoiding disappointment, but what about zero expectation?
