Is Bangladesh an underdeveloped country?

An economic state or a country that has not started the process of economic development or whose economic activities are stagnant now can be called an underdeveloped country or an underdeveloped economy. Many countries of the world are still plagued with various problems due to underdeveloped economy. The cornerstone of a developed economy is a feature in the economy of an underdeveloped country. People with low per capita income and underdeveloped countries are dependent on agriculture. Agricultural land is very small compared to the population and the production capacity is much less as agriculture is still practiced in the Mandhata period. As a result, their per capita income is very low. Moreover, the per capita income of the people of underdeveloped countries is also low due to the overall economic misery.

Most of the lakes in underdeveloped countries are dependent on agriculture. The lion's share of the national income of these countries comes from agriculture. Unemployment is one of the problems of underdeveloped economy. Unemployment is a problem due to limited access to jobs other than agriculture and rapid population growth. Population pressure on agriculture is very high as there is no opportunity for action. As a result, there is a questionable unemployment in the agricultural sector.

Lack of capital and low per capita income of the people of underdeveloped countries also reduce the amount of savings. As a result, capital formation is not possible in these countries. In underdeveloped countries, only 5% to 10% of the national income is used for capital formation. Due to this lack of capital is observed in underdeveloped countries.

Incomplete use of natural resources and full use of natural resources in underdeveloped countries is possible. Because of the lack of capital, skilled manpower and advanced technology in these countries, it is not possible to fully utilize the natural resources.

Population pressure and population growth rate in underdeveloped countries is very high. Advances in medical science have reduced mortality. But the birth rate has not changed. As a result, the population is constantly increasing which is giving rise to abnormal conditions like poverty, illiteracy, child marriage, polygamy etc.

Lack of entrepreneurs and lack of capital in underdeveloped countries is also lacking in entrepreneurs who are brave enough to take risks by investing capital. They are not interested in taking any risk as they do not have business experience. Moreover, the entrepreneurs who have experience and ability do not invest in the country but invest in other countries.
