Fried rice has been called a national dish from Indonesia, [7] [8] although there are many other competitors. This can be enjoyed in a simplified version of a tin plate in a roadside food stall, eaten in porcelain at a restaurant, or collected from a dinner buffet dinner table in Jakarta. [9]
