Some twenty years ago I attended a conference on waste management and was then shocked and disturbed to learn that plastic stays in the system for some 500 years! It's only now that they are starting to try and alert people to the dangers, far too little too late. I have told this to many people since way back then and hope I've got a few recyclers in the process. Thanks for the post. Keep up the good work. jv
