Thoughts on Earn.com?

in #earn7 years ago

I signed up for earn.com back when it was 21.co. Since their pivot, my inbox sees airdrop offers once or twice every week.

Because most of the offers are for $1 worth of airdropped tokens for projects I'd never heard of, I tend to steer clear. Just yesterday, however, I decided to check out one of the projects -- https://www.tunetoken.io/ (MIMS and Justin Wu are on the advisory board).

There were 5 steps during the signup flow. They asked for me to install the iOS app in order to receive the airdrop, after joining the Telegram and before I could receive the airdrop confirmation. I have an Android so I couldn't receive the tokens, but I had no way of knowing that until after joining the Telegram.

It's a small thing but it seems like a shitty way to build a community on the promise of airdrops that can't actually be provided for certain users.

I like the model of earn.com -- their airdrops, not so much.

Am I overreacting? What are your experiences with earn.com?
