Duolingo... better than I thought!
I have just tried Duolingo for the first time, and I have got to admit that I am impressed. It is way better than I thought and it actually gives you lots of useful grammar lessons while teaching you the basics of a language at the same time. The best thing is that it is free, making it easy to access, and helping anyone interested in learning a new language a flying start.
Would you like to learn a new language as well? I can warmly recommend Duolingo, simply because it is so easy to use. You can easily create a new user and then you can use the same user on your cell phone, tablet, and computer. Thus, you can follow your progress and do a little lesson while waiting for the bus, then continue with another lesson as you get to your desktop computer, and maybe finish the day with one more language lesson as you wait for your kids to fall asleep in the evening.
All in all, I am really amused by Duolingo and I am very impressed by the product they have managed to create and how they have made it available for free.
Are you a Duolingo user as well? Which language are you learning?
I love duolingo but have only tried the free version. I am currently studying Spanish and the interface is something I think is really well thought-out and intuitive enough that anyone can use it.
I don't see any reason to upgrade to the paid version. You get all the stuff (almost) in the free and it is really easy to use and will give people an easy introduction to a language and the grammar. So, a really awesome tool the way I see it!
