The forest is the home for the various animal include the wild and tame animals, big and small...
If the forest is gone, can you imagine where should the animals live?
a forest that is damaged and lost will make the animals go looking for a new home ... human settlements. and that is very unlikely because for some animals it is not good to live with human.
