I definitely know the vloggers and filmmakers on YouTube use 4K. It all depends on how cheap 4k is, even phones can do compressed 4k

Yeah some of the vloggers do, but some have backed off a bit and just don't feel its worth it yet. Example is Casey and Peter McKinnon just don't think the bang for the buck is there yet in editing time, etc.
Technology will catch up soon enough.
