I invite you to study the current economy of Venezuela. This is a disaster. we are also becoming increasingly poor thanks to the social / communist model currently implemented and that has people eating from the garbage.

I was chatting to another steemians from Venezula recently and she said it’s still pretty ok for tourists to come visit and have a good time without spending too much money is that true?

hello @chekohler
If a foreigner comes to spend a few days, it's fine.
Bring dollars and sell it in the black market and make a fortune with the local currency.
You go to a good hotel and there you will not lack anything.
But you can not be late at night because you're in danger. You will find many people asking for food in the restaurants.
If you come to Venezuela, you must know well where you will arrive, where you will be and the places you will visit because the same security force will take away money, and faster if they are dollars.
I love my country. Venezuela is a beautiful country that is badly damaged by its own people.

Thanks for your honest opinion on the country I really appreciate it and look forward to learning more about it before I plan my visit! I will be looking for more content from you showing off your country and giving real advice on how to enjoy your visit there! Sorry my voting power is. It goo enough to give you a proper upvote so I sent you some SBD directly instead

Thanks, man. w/ thas SBDs i can sell and buy food for my family.
