How to start playing The Sims 4
Today Origin announced that The Sims 4 base game was going to be free for anyone to own forever if you download it in the next six days. I then started getting a few questions on how to play the game. With that in mind, I started a new game and made a new Sim from scratch.
Once I had the new Sims all done I <cough> followed the tutorial in the Sims 4. Really. I helped you find out what to do when you don't follow directions! I know. You can thank me later...
Well, someone had to see what happened if you didn't do things perfectly!

I Love the Sims 4 however I do not have a PC so I actually play it on the PS4 I only play the base game though and not the expansions as to me they look too darn expensive lol. Thanks for sharing 😀

I guess this morning was the last day for it being free.
I hope you did!!
It never worked. After the downloads screen had been open for 2 hours, the green "progress bar" had barely moved and it was estimating over 9 hours remaining for the download. How big is this program, anyway...? 😕
Or maybe too many people were swamping their server? I was going to wait a day or two and try it again. BUT, the game is supposedly saved in my "library" on ORIGIN, so I guess I can login to their website to try it, perhaps?
