Can a completely unmoderated DTube really survive?

in #dtube7 years ago

An uncensorable video-platform seems to be a neat idea on a first glance, but have the developers considered the vile nature of the darker parts of the internet?

We are already seeing a lot of copyrighted material being posted, but this could be just the tip of the iceberg.
Do we really want to have a platform that allows abominably and highly illegal content like child pornography or ISIS recruiting videos to be posted completely anonymously and displayed openly and without any consequences?

In my opinion, society wouldn’t benefit from such a platform at all on the contrary!
The authorities are going to react on this sooner or later, and that could have huge impairments for the whole STEEM-project.

I would really like to know what you think about this, so please post your thoughts in the comments.

I’m rather new to STEEM (this is my first post!) so I might be missing the big picture.
