Entrepreneurship and Suicide - What nobody talks about
Being an entrepreneur has its pros and cons. Entrepreneurship can be exciting, motivational, relaxing, inspiring and glorious. However, we rarely talk about the other side of entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship can also be depressing and cause anxiety. The best thing to do is talk to someone who can break you away from those things and put you back on track. This can be a friend, a family member or a therapist.

Thanks for raising this issue. The many mistakes and difficulty of leaving work at work can be incredibly trying to entrepreneurs- hopefully more awareness will help those taking the leap into a business venture more prepared.
Truth! I never thought it'd be difficult as i was used to being an employee but it's really hard sometimes.
I guess nobody talks about it because of their pride. People would think them weak if they talked about how difficult it is or how anxiety and depression inducing it is, especially if they do not have the same entrepreneurial mindset as you have. Friends who find out about it would more likely tell you to quit it instead of support and help you. A good external support system or a strong will and determination is needed to be successful as an entrepreneur or a freelancer.
The good thing with living the entrepreneur/freelance life is you supposedly have better control of your time instead of spending 9hrs away working for other people. Of course working for other people and loving it is a different thing altogether. Whatever works for each of us, right?
The key to this kind of life is focus, discipline and planning. Otherwise, for me, i feel like am wasting my time without the three. 😂

Have you ever noticed some people are able to stay organized while getting a massive quantity of work accomplished, while others appear to be busy but never actually produce results? Time management is the key to becoming a successful entrepreneur.
Absolutely right. I, personally, had to learn this in the very beginning. Not only does time management help produce quality work but it also helps alleviate the stress that comes along with being an entrepreneur.

Thanks for the powerful post. As an entrepreneur myself I can say that people don't talk about the dark side because it's hard to know where to start or what exactly to voice. Is it the money you've lost or your business that's failing? There was a few months where I lost more money than I used to make in a year. It's hard to digest that, let a lone everything else that is happening. Thinking outloud..it's probably one of the reasons they call it a roller coaster. It all happens so fast....
