CHRISTMAS RECIPE - BRUSSEL SPROUTS - VIDEO
A classic Christmas combination - and it counts as 2 of your 5-a-day. Pan-fry Brussels sprouts in butter, crispy bacon for a smoky addition to your vegetable side dish. This vegetable loves the cool weather of fall and early winter. This is a really easy recipe for brussel sprouts and is perfect for a celebration table.
Ingredients :
1/2 cup of pine nuts
1 bag of Brussel sprouts ( about 300-400 gr)
1 cup OR 225 gr of pancetta
1 onion
2 garlic cloves
50 gr OR 1/4 cups of butter
salt
pepper
1 tsp of bicarb soda

Tried it last year and still not converted! But somehow really enjoy the kalettes, the kale and brussels sprouts hybrid, lol.
