It is a pleasure for me to refer to today's song in this musical field; Festín Marino (Marine Festin) by Rafael Salazar. It is a Joropo Oriental Sucrense (JOSU) sung by María Rodríguez (1924 - 2014) La Voz de Cumaná or as others also know it, the Sirena de Cumaná. This joropo was recorded in the city of Caracas in 1994 and is part of the Musical Album María por siempre. The musical production was made by Rafael Salazar himself and the execution of the Mandolin, the Arrangements and the Musical Direction were in charge of those who write these lines, Estelio Padilla.
