Nascent Magnificence
O bloom vase sing for me,
Future urn for loom ashes.
Swollen tragedy pathway through the grove,
Glimpse a cavern wherein love lives.
Lentils and sack-cloth wrung in anguish,
Clustered in this prophetic alcove.
Trace a narrative in crumb-lines,
Crysanthemums break bread with roses.
Breadwinners eat rye loaf / got numb spines,
Bake by the pound, measure close their poesy.
Hung out clothes-line "I'm fine, I'm fine ma."
Empty words strung out like a pearly loop;
S-woop instantly intuition governs me
connected to cosmic grid-spark.
Hark! The lines run fallow over the labyrinth,
Clouds on the wisp-wing to spread.
Sun to sin it's grace and sibilancy
To converse with wingèd angels of the dead.
I know the pyramid of light falls on my head,
I am chasten-christened-imbued-commisioned-
Coordinated-glistened-improved-unfashioned
In the light of the masked Man.
Mystery refashioned, I am healed-reimagined,
Re-energized eyes blind with ideas
Instead of ignorance, new impetus,
Sinuous creativity, lush limitless.
Premise thus, rebuttal so:
I sing, humans still do they scuttle so?
Departing from self-made maze elaborate hoax.
If I broach the topic they shift uneasily,
Unfeasibly mentioned, uncouth misunderstood.
Under-the-hood schematics sin emphatic
Cataract momentary diamond refracted
Crystalline integrity re-instilled.
Build-anomaly redacted
Wholeness reinstated to the bloom vase,
May the flower-mouths be sated
For ash and life and bliss I made a loom case.

Yo @d-pend! I just had an EPIPHANY! Listening to this spoken word immediately summoned me back to my teenage years, when the hip-hop group "Arrested Development" was one of my favorites. Since I had forgotten the name of BOTH the group AND my favorite album, I just searched for "Mr. Wendel" and that one, and all the other tracks on that album, came up. I just had a listen to the whole album while consulting my crystal ball, and I came up with the idea that THIS type of genre would be PREFECT for you. That is, MERGING your beatboxing with your spoken word poetry. My intuition tells me that this is where you are ULTIMATELY headed. It would be the PINNACLE of your talents in BOTH of these crafts, and the music would help GROUND the lyrics BUT ALSO allow some flexibility for ambiguity. If you are so inclined, have a listen to the track "Washed Away" (below) and meditate on what I am suggesting here. I have tweeted out this post :

and I have 0.5 SBD waiting from my last "Steemit-Twitter Marketing Campaign" post waiting for you to claim if/when you have a series similar to your "100 days" series (where my donation can be listed on a donor's list - as I believe this benefits ALL parties). But if you choose to produce some of my suggested beatbox/spokenword "hip hop" type tracks I would even be willing to motivate you with a 1.0 SBD donation (I know it's not much, but it is within the budget right now). Give this all a ponder ...

"Mr. Wendel" was the DIRECTION hip hop should have taken. Somehow good music just doesn't sell. Here is the ORIGINAL...
Oops... wrong video.
Thank you for this new start @d-pend. All I can state here is the obvious. How can I say I what hasn't been said? Each word bounces off another making a connection bound and intertwined through a loom coming out with sweet wine... and a punch at the end.
For example:
I doubt if anyone knows what inspired you to put these words together...
but the closing lines won't leave my head
Your rap will never go mainstream and I am happy about that. A lot of the rap from the 80s got stuck in my head as a kid. This is a rap genre in itself, pure d-pend. Thanks for putting it together for us.
Usually labels offend me, but here they just make me smile:
Great poem. It overwhelms with images and cadence, a catarat in the Spanish sense of rainfall, which is the same word for the eye malady. I like the idea of interwoven images, literally expressed in the sixth stanza. The contrast between opacity and translucency is mind blowing. The images created by your metaphors resonate like ice in a glass. Beautifully chosen pictures to frame the text.
I really love this piece, that being said you rendition sort of confused me as your accent had more than a twinge of hood rat ;) i expect your rap voice on your more modern stuff but this felt more classical ...so i was sort of like huh ..ok ...
It's a rap piece :o)
(Spoken word to be more specific,
which I see as a midway point between poetry and rap)
It's evident many times when I get in this zone that creations spill out semantically unviable yet honed to a specific chasm of thought. For thought is somewhat inherently void, though it is viewed as the opposite to profundity alloyed.
Noise, begetting alarm, begetting escalation: silence is the balm which bears serenity's gestation.
:)
When I come back to this comment in a few days will there be more. It seems to be emulating the universe in it's expansion ... ;)
Wow ... it was hard to pick a favourite stanza. A strong and layered piece. Communication between artist, muse and the divine. excellent:)
nice.
