Today we are going to talk about Transportation.
And we are going to see some verbs that we use in Portugal: "Conduzir" – to drive and "Andar" – to walk.
Let’s check the verbs:
Conduzir – to drive
- Eu conduzo – I drive
- Tu conduzes – You drive
- Ele/Ela conduz – He/She/It drives
- Nós conduzimos – We drive
- Vós conduzis – You drive
- Eles/Elas conduzem – They drive
Andar – to walk
- Eu ando – I walk
- Tu andas – You walk
- Ele/Ela anda – He/She/It walks
- Nós andamos – We walk
- Vós andais – You walk
- Eles/Elas andam – They walk
Now let’s check the transports:
- Meio de transporte – Transportation
- Carro – Car
- Bicicleta – Bycicle
- Autocarro – Bus
- Mota – Motorcycle
- Comboio – Train
- Barco – Boat
- Metro – Subway
- Helicóptero – Helicopter
- Avião – Airplane

- Gostaria de mudar de voo. – I would like to change flights.
- Pode confirmar a hora de saída do avião para Lisboa? – Can you confirm the time of arrival for the plane to Lisbon?
- De quanto em quanto tempo são os autocarros? – How long it takes the bus to arrive?
- Gostaria de um bilhete de ida e volta para o Porto. – I would like a return ticket to Porto.
