STEEM Geek Podcast Episode #13 - 5 Best Game Soundtracks of All Time!

in #dsound7 years ago (edited)

Hello, Steemian geeks!

This is the first episode for our "5 Things Wednesdays"!

Very few things beat the feeling of being fully immersed in the world of that long awaited game that you just bought. The immersion usually happens if the game has a great story with captivating characters, a beautifully designed world, and also intuitive and solid gameplay. But a very important aspect not always talked about when it comes to gaming is the music!

My lecturer once told me that the music and sound usually make up 50% of the movie. And it's hard to argue against that. Could you imagine a Nolan movie without Hans Zimmer as the music composer? The same goes for gaming!

Here's our list of OUR 5 Best Game Soundtracks of All Time!

I think that most of the work that a videogame company should do is spend its time producing a good soundtrack, because it is essential that gamers listen to a nice composition while they play a video game
And fortunately they do it almost always!

Yeah, most games today usually have a good soundtrack to support it :) Guess that makes us real lucky!

What about Nier: Automata?

That game's soundtrack is just amazing! I wasn't expecting it to be THAT good.

Damn, dude. Now I got to play that game as well!
Actually really like horizon zero dawn as well but I haven't finished it so I couldn't add it into the list.

Thanks again for the support, man!

Listening to it now! :D

Thank you for the support, lord zord!
