It sounds like you have some really cool things planned for this GAME!
Battles will be available and it will be the time to steal, rob, raid, betray for resources.
Gangs will be introduced in a cool way.
Then Missions will be available which will provide rewards for the accomplishment.
Gang Missions and Gangs Leaderboard will be opened as well as the introduction of Gang Rewards.
Unique and legendary units/items (with a system like in Diablo) to make your empire incomparable to any others.
All of these sound incredibly FUN. I think people are losing sight of the fact that this is a GAME not a mutual fund. There has been a lot of chatter about ROI... but I am encouraged that your team seems to be more focused on FPD (fun per dollar). That is honestly what I hope you spend the majority of your time on. Continue making this game as fun as possible. If you do, plenty of people will gladly play and be thrilled with a small steem return. After all, millions of people pay to play video games every day. I don't know very many who get anything in return.
And for the record, I am not saying "too bad, so sad" to people who only invested in this game because they want a return on their investment. If this game explodes, I am sure those investors will be extremely happy.
Hopefully, those people can look at this as a long term investment (or a entertaining game) and do things to cultivate it and encourage its growth beyond current steemians. If this game grows, we will all benefit... while having a ton of fun!
