The war on drugs will be written in history books

in #drugs8 years ago

In the history books of the next few decades/centuries, we'll learn how drugs were illegal and people were chased down if they used them.

We'll learn about the invasion to one's privacy as they were trying to explore their consciousness. We'll learn of violent and racist police officers that would break one's house just to search for a small amount of a drug.

We'll learn about the propaganda, the threatening TV ads and probably the biggest pile of lies in human history.

We'll learn how people went out to the streets to protest against the war on drugs. We'll see photos of people celebrating legalization, and couldn't believe drugs could have once been illegal, since they are such a trivial thing right now (referring to the future when all drugs will be legal).

And most important of all, we'll learn how governments from all over the world lied to their citizens and imprisoned them for victim-less crimes.
