Types of Marijuana Indica,Sativa,Hybrid

Unfortunately, sometimes marijuana users simply do not care what they are rolling up. They simply enjoy smoking cannabis and mocking those who display their bags with fancy names, "kryto-chronolite-chronolite."

In fact, most smokers who have not cultivated or lived closely with growers and their crops are often less important if what they smoke is Sativa or Indica, and some do not even know the difference. Looking back and remembering our adolescence, we realize that we did not really have many options. We were restricted to having to sneak and catch what we found through friends and acquaintances, who most of the time was unnamed and low quality cannabis.

Cannabis Indica
Are short and sturdy in calm (2-4 feet high), and usually produce less in quantity but with a higher concentration of THC than cannabis sativa (THC ~ 18%). Plants are believed to come from the Middle East (Pakistan and Afghanistan), and grow well in a cooler environment. Indica varieties are typically Sativa's darker green, and shorter and thicker leaves. Since plants grow so short they are ideal for indoor growing. The buds are thick and dense, bloom in between eight and twelve weeks. The flavors and scents of Cannabis Indica include: spicy skunk, ground, hash, pine, or a sweet and sugary fruit flavor.

The effects produced by Indica varieties are very relaxing and narcotic-like, usually provide full effect, or the known effect of "sinking on the sofa". The Indica are perfect for those days to spend curled up on the couch watching TV or Browse the web. However, most people use Cannabis Indica after a long day at work to relieve stress, provide pain relief throughout the body, and help you fall asleep at night.

Indica Varieties are ideal for chronic pain, muscle spasms, anxiety, nausea, stimulation of appetite and lack of sleep. People who suffer from diseases such as multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, lupus, sleep apnea and insomnia tend to benefit from the effects of Cannabis Indica

Cannabis sativa

Grow taller and thinner than Indicas varieties. Sativa Strains are originals from the equatorial countries of Colombia, Mexico, Thailand and Southeast Asia. Sativa leaves are much thinner than Indica leaves, and are typically a lighter shade of green. Sativa plants have reached extraordinary heights of up to 20 meters when they are outside, and have much longer vegetation. Once the plant begins to bloom, it can take anywhere from ten to sixteen weeks until full maturity. Since vegetation periods are so long, these plants are characterized by producing an external yield much superior to the Indicas (provided the weather permits), but a percentage of THC below the Indicas on average (around 12- 16%). Sativa plants are known to be extremely psychoactive, with aromas ranging from sweet and fruity, to earthy with nuances of diesel fuel.

Sativa strains are known to produce a rush, sometimes cerebral, which is usually very energetic and stimulating. Some Sativa are known to make you laugh uncontrollably as well as make you want to engage in an in-depth conversation. These strains often cause us to analyze human experience and think creatively, making Cannabis Sativa very popular among philosophers, artists and musicians. Many agree that some Sativa can improve the perception of lights and sounds, make music, movies, and the rest of their environment more interesting and vibrant than ever.

There is a wide range of cannabis varieties beyond Indica and Sativa. These strains are known as "hybrids" and the traits are directly related to the genetics of their lineage. Hybrids can be divided into three basic categories:

Sativa-dominant Hybrids: High Cerebral with a relaxing effect for the body. Provides physical and mental relief.

Even hybrids (50/50): Strains Ideal for people looking for a perfect balance between head and body.

Indica dominant Hybrids: These strains provide pain relief throughout the body, maximum relaxing head. Recommended for use at night to go to sleep, or relief of minor pains during the day. These strains are perfect for patients suffering from all types of autoimmune diseases as well as insomnia.
