Israel watches Palestinians with drones

The illegal Israeli settlement, Ephrat uses unmanned drones or drones to monitor Palestinians around their territory. It was the first time the settler's technology had been used for the Palestinian monitoring agenda.

According to the Jerusalem Post report, the $ 37,000 unmanned device was paid for by the International Christians and Jews (IFCJ). The small black drone can even watch the Palestinians at night by using a thermal camera.
Settlement council claimed that the drone was needed to protect the people from the Palestinian resistance. This was done after the alleged incident of stabbing this year which resulted in one person with minor injuries.
"We will install this unmanned aircraft in our own yard if we find another terrorist who wants to come to Euphrates We will be able to raise the unmanned aircraft into the air, freeze the situation, get a good visual picture and direct troop and police troops to the spot in where terrorists are hiding, "said Chief of Council, Oded Revivi.
In fact, more frequent conditions are Palestinians who are harassed by settlers and Israeli soldiers. They are also harmed because of the presence of settlements.
Euphrates are the fourth largest settlement built on Palestinian land. The settlement area has a path for Jewish settlers only allowed to use during the day. It separates the nearby Arab population from their farm.
Last week, Israeli human rights group BTselem reported that Palestinian school children from the Al Jalazun refugee camp in the occupied West Bank are also facing violence and harassment. That's because of their school closeness with Israeli illegal settlements in Beit El.
"The Israeli occupation forces used tear gas, rubber-coated metal bullets and, in some cases, direct fire," BTselem said. "Camp residents, including minors, have been killed and injured."
The NGO also found that Israeli settlers attacked Palestinians in Einabus village in the West Bank with the help of Israeli troops last week. Two Palestinians were attacked by Jewish settlers from the famous Yitzhar settlement because they paved the way on their farm.
About 50 villagers then went to protect their land. After that the settlers were again accompanied by soldiers who fired live ammunition and tear gas into Palestine.
With the unmanned aircraft now ready for use in Euphrates, IFCJ founders and President Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein say his organization plans to provide the same drones to other communities in Israel, including along the Gaza border.
"The security of Israeli citizens is one of the most important areas of our authority and we are confident that this drone will help citizens and significantly improve their personal safety," Eckstein said.
