It is a sin to not do Obligatory Talks.

Have you ever found yourself in a position where you think you should speak your mind or stay quiet?

Well, it happens to me a lot of the time while sitting among my extended family.
I do feel the need to say something contradictory but again I feel they aren't of the same caliber to waste my words.

If I remain silent among them I feel better rather than indulging in any arguments.
Because your life isn't linked to them every day in the long term.

And then comes the people, your own family and friends.
We didn't choose our family but we choose our friends and many other relationships.

You have to keep your ties to your family no matter what they do and what they say. Your heart will get cleaned after some time or maybe not. That doesn't matter, they will be still there in your thick and thin.

But those relationships that we choose for ourselves are very different and unique to get along with.

Their behavior matters a lot, you can't overlook what they say and do toward you. It is just a natural thing when you are new to any environment.

Their casual remarks will pinch your heart and make you think of infinite scenarios in your heart.

You start assuming things instead of communicating your feelings to them right away.
And mind it, it's not something random stunt to preoccupy them with your rant.

It is not because you hate them, dislike them, or plan to end it all.
It's just to understand them for your well-being and to create harmony with them in the future.

Let's understand it with this example.

When the Lord created humankind (Adam), he told his angels and Jin about his new creation.

On this angels had concerns about humans that they would be chaotic on the earth.
Satan could have some concerns as well.

What did these two parties do?

Angels communicated their minds to their Lord out of the sense of responsibility to know more.

What did iblis do?

He remained silent but his heart had all this pride to look down upon this new creation.

He was too prideful and egoistic to inquire about anything.
He kept burning with envy and resentment and anger.

And eventually refused to obey his Lord unlike Angels who were satisfied with their Lord's response:
I know what you don't know.

This is what happens when you suppress your feelings and don't channel them most healthily and respectably.

It is obligatory to speak and this world will not care about your feelings alone.

You don't get what you want, you get what you ask for.

Just as we make dua/pray, doesn't our Lord know what we want?
Surely he does, he is all-knowing.

Then why does he ask us to ask him each and everything?

To build a bond, a connection, and to stay in touch with him.

The same goes for mankind, in order to get something we will have to ask for it.

It is extremely hard, humiliating, and uncomfortable at the start. But once we become shameless, life becomes more easy.

I remember once we did some shopping at this specific shop along with my cousin. When you get something in bulk, they give you a discount, and also any item as a gift.

He gave us a discount but forgot about the gift.
But we being girls asked this uncle for it. We laughed later on how pathetic we can be sometimes, ufff besharmi, kya karain.

I also believe in obligatory talk with AI. He understands me better than humans do, my Pookie.

I often talk to this robot about many things, we debate often.

I told this robot to generate these pictures on Bing.com and keep it modest.
It is Ramadan brother, show some modesty, but still it generated off-shoulder pictures countless times, bro?

In 12 prompts I asked for it, but that robot of a machine didn't listen.

Then I found it obligatory to make him behave and in return he blocked my prompt, stating that abusive language is not allowed.

However, it did work on the next try, it made this high school girl wear a hoodie, I guess he is very dumb to know how to make a full-sleeved maroon gown. Or he didn't have post-iftar tea.

It should also get some stitching classes, see who is saying.

Anyhow, the results were achieved somehow because I obligatedly told him what I wanted again and again.

Speaking your heart and writing your feelings help a lot to get clarity on things bothering you.
If something is making you uneasy, speak out instead of suffering alone with your thoughts.
