Tokyo Ghoul
What? Not much into anime? You are missing out on some really good stuff. I know I know. It is not like I hate it or avoid it completely. Maybe some of it just never really caught my attention fully. I’ve seen some of Ghost in the Shell and Death Note before. Enjoyed them both. Perhaps it is the themes or the vibe? Dark, sinister and thought provoking.

Tokyo Ghoul caught my attention from episode one and it has lasted through all four seasons with 4th one still unfolding. I am really glad it found its way to me. It is based on a Japanese dark fantasy manga set in alternate reality where flesh eating monsters ghouls live hiding among humans. Humans are aware of ghouls though and there is constant ongoing battle between them.

Kaneki all the way! Of course we can relate and parallels with our own reality can be made simply by replacing ghouls with something else from this world we all live in. Nothing really is just black or white, or is it?

Awesome post @m31! This is the time I regret than I don't have more SP. I should reward it with more value :( Tokyo Ghoul is definitely amazing anime and I'm so happy that u got into it! Kaneki quotes, good story, awesome drawing, coffee and song of the day, everything connects to create best post in the world and yea tokyo ghoul have amazing Soundtracks/openings. I love Unravel.

The only negative thing I found is that in season 3 and 4 they are really rushing. It's more like trailer for manga than full manga adaptation. They trying to end this anime in 12 ep's to not waste more money on it. There is a lot things skipped. They should make atleast 100 episodes instead they doing 2x12 ep's. That's why when someone is watching season 3/4 they don't know what is going on. Its because anime is missing so many facts/conversation's and other important things. I'm sure I will buy manga (I know I can read it online but I rather having it IRL) and then everything gonna be clear and fixed.

Mirai NikkiorRe:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai SeikatsuorCode Geass. Those anime are true legends. Depends what type of anime u like. If you are new in anime world u are the happiest person in the world. U still have around ~20 legendary title's to watch before going into the average ones. I would make a list for you but there is too much of it, so I rather to recommend u those 3 anime and then I will recommend u another 3 titles.Welcome to Anime World. I actually got curious about the wallpaper he used and remembered only later so instead of asking I googled - anime, white hair mask or something of the sort and found it that way. Yea, it was a bit strange jump from season 2 to 3. At first I thought whaaat am I missing something I should have seen before 3 since I have not read manga, so rushing definitely makes sense now. Maybe I should get my hands on it too ^^
Yes, ahaha! I've lived under a rock and am definitely new to anime world, but so far I really enjoy the darker stuff, call it feeding my depression xD Thank you so much for suggestions! Think I will start with Mirai Nikki as you recommended.

Just do it! Interesting part about drawing and artsy stuff, even though we stop doing it for a while, it does not necessarily mean we lose all the skills or it all goes away. Sometimes when returning to it there is even improvement and growth out of the blue. I would love to see your drawings!

I accidentally dropped a very sharp pencil onto my thumb years ago and it left a subcutaneous dot of graphite... So I guess my thumb looks more like a cyclops with its one dot :)

I have not watched any anime in quite a long time but I keep hearing this Tokyo Ghoul thing hyped quite a lot, so maybe it is time.
I have been off that "scene" for years now and even when I was into it I did not watch a huge variety of shows; instead I would obsess over one at a time and watch it over and over and just completely throw myself into its universe. Accordingly I suppose I am probably not qualified to tell you what to watch next... but if I could watch any of the ones I have seen for the first time again it would be Neon Genesis Evangelion.
