Pois: A refined and timeless classic

With its sophisticatedly retro and decidedly refined allure, polka-dot fantasy never goes out of fashion. Usually proposed in spring-summer version, we find it as a strong trend also in this season, the winter version. I fell in love with this suit jacket and longuette skirt with splitting from the Armani collection, black and white polka dots. When I wear it with high boots, I have a fun eco yellow fur that illuminates the whole and diminishes the effect too bon-ton.

The curiosity for the polka-dot motif has led me to discover this Japanese artist. I must confess I didn't know, Yayoi Kusama, a true legend, one of the most respected in the world, who has made polka dots his distinctive character and has always drawn, painted and replicated those dots in hundreds of thousands of ways. Dots that from a young age he continues to see everywhere. He coexists with visual and auditory hallucinations, close to the main artistic movements of the 60s and 70s, challenging and provocative, with his style influenced pop art by Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein.

He has exhibited his paintings, sculptures, installations and environments in the most prestigious galleries and museums in every corner of the planet and he has contacts with prominent representatives of the world of music, such as Peter Gabriel, with whom he releases the video "Love Town", and with the world of fashion, as with the maison Vuitton in 2012. Thanks to Marc Jacobs letting him meet wuth Louis Vuitton, with whom he will play one of the greatest artistic collaborations for the French maison. Many garments and accessories will be made that will replicate the ubiquitous big and colorful polka dots. This hallucinogenic proliferation is also expressed in the shop windows of Louis Vuitton stores around the world, which will be decorated with emblematic motifs, sculptures for shop windows in the form of bioformic "nerves which will be used as a background for the box OggiMiMetto, macro flowers and red dots on a white background. For the artist, who sees his life as "a lost point among millions of other points", this collaboration will be the means to spread his polka dots endlessly throughout the world and convey his message "Love Forever".

She herself often has her work photographed inside, colorful and with brightly colored helmet wigs. At the age of 90 he financed and opened his museum, a five-storey glass and concrete tower in Tokyo, which was created with the aim of presenting, promoting and preserving his art and also conveying a message of peace and love that he has embraced during his esteemed career, through his work and his unique vision".
