Trump is BULLSHIT

in #donald7 years ago

Can we have an honest conversation about Donald J. Trump? The man is con artist. If it’s not the fake dye in his hair, it’s the fake rhetoric and personality. Believe it or not, I almost voted for him, but only because of his promises of ending war, and ending corruption in Washington. Everything he’s done so far is the bidding of the establishment, and the literal exact OPPOSITE of what he said he was going to do. I mean, he’s threatening Syria and Russia now? After seven years of war ending in Syria, all of sudden Assad “chemically gassed” his own people? And Trump uses this as an excuse for war? That doesn’t sound like “getting out of the wars” Trump to me. It sounds like Obama in 2011. It sounds like military industrial complex.

He gave Hillary so much crap for taking large amounts of money from the banks, but then hires Goldman Sachs execs to top economic positions. Gary Cohn, briefly, for Chief Economic advisor, and Steve Mnuchin as Secretary of the Treasury!
WTF that’s like saying we should get rid of the cartel, but then hiring “El Chapo” for your administration. Trump is a fucking FAKE. He said we would focus on rebuilding U.S. infrastructure, but then gives 100 billion dollars in weapons deals to Saudi Arabia; 300 billion over the span of a decade, while also giving 100 billion a year in free money to corporations, which doesn’t include tax breaks and tax avoidance. Just for perspective, it costs 70 billion a year to fund education and 30 billion to fund Medicaid. WTF.

These few examples show how far removed we are from the democracy we’re supposed to be. Trump said he would end corruption and “Drain the swamp”. Yet he isn’t doing anything remotely worthy of his position or the policies he ran on. Trump IS Clinton. He IS Obama. He IS a neo liberal. Vote Bernie Sanders in 2020.

i see ... an american with ideas hm :) , i was hoping he would be a public figure who is in it for the money like they all are but in this case could sit out one legislature (i dont thats the american word but hm) without starting a war , mainly because he's actually talking to kim soong. I didn't know the american military was out of Syria ? For all i know they never left, and it would be weird since the Russians never left, since afghanistan its like you can be sure of one thing, if the bear is there then the eagle has landed hm ... I dont know how much news you get on Syria there but it hasn't stopped one day, not since the rise of IS (which is the islamic state of "iraq and syria" originally when they had over 100.000 square miles conquered starting as a band of rabble with a palet of bleach until now, constant bombing, assad fighting 'the rebels' while flattening his own place and the powers that be pouring a ton of money into the commercial military. It hasn't stopped one day, the story on chemical warfare is i dont know , almost ten years old and going on ?

if this is sold as a 'new atrocity' over there i would betcha fiver that its a campaign to try and warm people for another campaign, which means money for the military but as i understood the americans themselves are a bit tired of fighting for the warmachine.

Don't stop what you're doing, getting conversation on is quite hard but theres some people here who i think would be great consultants to governments all over, the only problem is politicians don't pay people to say "no you're wrong", they pay people who tell them they're always right

it's not so much the opinion as the conviction that makes things real, and you clearly have both

I haven't been on Steemit in some time now, and I can't believe I never replied to you! Seriously can't thank you enough for the compliment and reply! I didn't mean that the U.S. was out of Syria (yeah right, like that'll happen soon), I meant Assad was already finishing up his civil war after 7 years. So why would he go and chemically gas his people, if he knew the world wouldn't act kindly to it, you know what I mean? I'm thinking it was a set up. All the evidence points to it being bullshit. Where are you from, friend???!!!

i'm from the country in europe that provided the most "syrian IS fighters" pro capita lol ... belgium
( https://www.politico.eu/article/a-third-of-isil-foreign-fighters-return-to-europe-report/ )
well, euh i don't know why but steemit feels a lot friendlier than it did last year, ... since i sat it out with a few privileged who kept downvoting every single post i havent had any run-ins anymore, which is good, that way i can try to build something :p

As for Syria, it's been a battleground for years and years now and i can't shake the feeling its very convenient for both the US and Russia that they can use it as no man's land to test all their new gimmicks and strategies without actually having to fight each other (cf. Afghanistan where al qaeda was born) It is surprising however that it's put in the new as something 'new' and used as a kind of motivational beating stick to warm your american people (who grew very tired of sending out soldiers everywhere as i understood) for a new batch of war. For a moment there i thought Trump in all his testosterone might actually not start a new one during his legislature (or tenure what do you call it overthere) but it's still a conundrum, with Kim Korea saying he wants peacetalks 'as long as the states don't invade' i'm totally like wtf ??!?

what is going on here behind the screen where the plebs and small fry like us can't see whats happening ?

there's no obligation to answer lol, i try as much as , but i miss a lot sometimes, because there's this thing called life outside the screen and all that lol.png

i can no longer backvote anyone who voted me btw, its become too much but its very nice to have people here to talk with, not just to :p, on a variety of subjects i'd be lacking around here, and i have been , for years, from anything critical criticism, anarchy (non violent resistance that is) particle physics, the war-machine ... homesteading ... the mechanics of the system, you name it :p

so ... if you feel like answering please do, and if not , then don't feel bad for that lol

see you around, take care

lol yeah my guy, I've been taking some time for myself from the constant overflow of information. Politics and news in general give me uncessary stress sometimes lol!! As to the people who kept downvoting your content, I'm sorry about that. The internet is filled to the brim with douche bags. It wouldn't be the internet without them haha. With or without them, I'm sure you'd flourish either way since you seem pretty fucking smart, not going to lie. d:

As far as Syrian politics. I agree. There are no "good guys" in these wars. I imagine the world looks like a chess board to the major powers of China, Russia, U.S. & Europe. There are no good guys, but just the "lesser of two evils".

I'm going to give you a link to this steemit post i found on here. Read it if you want, and give me your take will you? You don't have to though!! :)

Also, "tenure" is appropriate. Since you're from Belgium (badass!), I'd like to clarify that Americans are tired of war. Which isn't just my opinion. Poll after poll, Americans disagree with our government's intervention. We basically DO NOT live in a democracy. We live in an oligarchy. I feel as if the EU, especially the U.K. are dragged along with my governments decisions.

well, most would agree, but its actually the politicians who don't want to look poor and thank you (but belgium is not bad-ass its just a cesspool) they try to keep up but they dont have the money, meantime they try to BE but they cant so they're stuck with

a cesspool

the last polls here that made it to the news got outright overturned

the last one ISSUED by the governments (of which we have five in this strange little place) got overturned after everyone said "NO"

enlightened despotism (i didnt pull that out of a hat to start ranting about it to everyone lol) is not democracy, you say oligarchy, thats pretty close to what they call russia then, id call this place enlightened despotism, i dont think those people have it in them to dictate, i think they are simply SO far away from reality they have no clue what they're doing

and the "experts" they surround themselves with have a lot of paper on the wall

but as much empathy with the gutter and the peasant

or the working class hero for that matter

as a god would with a flea

they don't get it :)

critical minds are critical, you dont need to start a physical revolution to keep the underground alive

although sometimes it ends up like that

i hope i wont have to see that in my lifetime here
