I always worried about what would happen to my dogs after I died, due to declining health and age, but he passed away before me. He was my protector and he would bark when my insulin got too low.
Its been over a year, since Wolfgang passed away. I wdidnt want another dog,because I wont be around to take care of it, but they got me one anyway. He isnt like Wolfgang, at all. But I take care of him anyway.

I'm very sorry to hear this. At least you got to spend so many years together and 19 is quite an accomplishment.
